You’ll immediately notice how soft and light our muslin blankets are. They are made in India from 100% organic cotton, with dyes that are Oeko-Tex certified, so are safe for delicate, newborn skin.

Machine wash low and tumble dry low (if you can hang the muslin blankets out to dry that's always best).

About the design

Designed by , a British designer and artist whose hand-painted patterns celebrate the timeless beauty of nature with joyful colour and expressive style.

"My Irises muslin design began as a pattern for stationery. I was pregnant during the pandemic and whiled away a week reading the 'The Language of Flowers' all about the Victorian symbolism of different blooms.

I made a collection of painted floral prints around this and the Iris design was one. The flower gets its name from a Greek Goddess who delivered messages and the plant is said to represent hope and faith. The word in Greek actually translates as rainbow - so it's full of positive symbolism. The blue and yellow variety I choose to paint are just so joyful."
